Megan Clover Photography specializes in fine art portraiture of children,families, and pets. I pride myself on capturing the overall memorable experience. I focus on the story behind each image and the internal as well as the external beauty of each subject, by relating to my clients.

Children's portraits are captured on location in the child's own environment, seeking to find the individuality and personality of each particular child, focusing on what is unique and special about your child, capturing their expressions and capturing those little moments we take for granted!

Our family portraits are also an on-location experience. I believe in capturing the special relationships between family members. Whether it's focusing on the parents, siblings, parent and child, grandparents, or extended families, each family session is designed to be unique and interactive, captured in your environment, where your family is most comfortable.

Each session is custom designed to my client and photographed in your own unique environment so that each portrait is an exclusive, original work of art! I strive to create portraits that touch your emotions… images that will be cherish for years to come!

What To Expect

Where will you photograph me? I feel it's important to capture you in your own environment, creating a sense of real life in the photos. For this reason, your session will take place "on location", usually at your home or another place of your choosing. I want to capture who you really are, and that is best achieved when we photograph you where you're most comfortable. If you prefer, we can help you decide what location would be best for you.

What will the session be like? I will meet you on location to review with you any specific shots or combinations of people you would like photographed.

How long will it last? Anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour or more, depending on your needs.

What should I wear? Solid colors and neutral tones (khaki, pastel, white, tan etc) work best for portraits. We want to focus on your expression and features rather than the clothing, so try and stay away from bright colors,patterns,words or logos printed on clothing. Families should coordinate colors so that everyone blends together as a group (this doesn't mean everyone has to wear exactly the same clothes or colors). Classic clothes that will remain in style for years to come are always your best option for a photo session.

How will I see my portraits? About three weeks after your session, we will have your portraits avalible to view on the website. You will get a login and password to view the photos that you can give out to family members and friends who also would like to view or order.
